Against soundscape

Against Soundscape is a reference to anthropologist Tim Ingold's article with the same title, and a critical construction through its form. It is intended to assert the inconsistencies experienced in the practice of sound and listening through the overuse of the term ‘soundscape’, as an ontological marker as much as in the historical and political charge it conveys. This first piece, part of a suite composed for the GRM's acousmonium, is based on field recordings, electronics and studio recordings.
