Implementation of the new sound trail in the permanent collections of the Musée du Quai Branly - Jacques Chirac. Project carried out with Éric de Visscher (curator), Cécile Cros (producer, Narrative Agency), Julia Griner (sound designer, Narrative Agency), Simon Cacheux (sound designer, Narrative Agency), Luc Martinez (sound designer, Narrative Agency), the museum's technical and heritage unit teams. While the Musée Résonnant project does not seek to impose sound objects onto the collection, it does seek to modify the ambient background sound in the museum and highlight its contours. Conceived as a (modest) means of putting the works back into their proper context, the various creations on offer activate anthropic and ‘environmental’ sounds, as two elements inextricably linked to singular cosmological contexts.
