During the summer of 2020, Pali Meursault and Thomas Tilly immersed their microphones, hydrophones, and seismic sensors deep in crevasses, glacial torrents, and moraine folds to listen to their sonic vibrations.

These extraordinary sounds mingle with the testimonies of those familiar with the ice: glaciologists, geomorphologists, mountain guides, mountaineers, refuge wardens, and ski resort operators, who share their experiences of the place and provide the keys to understanding the current transformations of the landscape, linked to global warming and glacier retreat.
