Here, the voice placement, the microphones, the sound and acoustics of the site are taken as a whole, making these recordings a series of pieces/actions. Junko's voice, extracted from the amplification system, is directed as a means of activating the site, creating a contrast between anthropogenic noise and the fantasised silence of the forest; a contrast between two sonic cultures : noise and phonography. This is the first sound project in the history of Vent des forêts.
